Publix 7/11/10 $13.95 OOP

I was going to make a "peach thyme galette" recipe last night, and needed almond flour ($12 for that little bag - holy smokes!!!!!!!!!!!). Since it was so expensive I formulated a coupon scenario to use overages - I think it went great!I even got a pound of xlg shrimp for dinner and plenty of other essentials. I should have held off on the kashi cereals, though, because I could have gotten them for even $1 less at another time (if I would have had my other coupon)- and if I had waited my subtotal would have been $2 less. But that is OK because I finally returned those Pantenes and gotalmost $9 back in cash. I love couponing!!
Oh, and the latest cashier gossip is that Shauna got Jonny and Billy in some kind of major trouble at work- But now Jonny has a new girlfriend so he is moving on with his life. Not to mention Shauna no longer works there (I will miss you, Shauna! You were my favorite cashier!!!)As the WOrld Turns - in Publix on Folly ROad - LOL!! I love talking to my high school cashiers and bag boys - they are so nice and it is so refreshing to hear their perspective on life.

  1. What did you buy to get overage? I see the travel size Tylenol (which coupons did you use)?

  2. Another question... What is the deal on the Renuzit? Which coupons are you using?

  3. Hi! I used the $5/2 insert q for the tyleonl. It is for any Sudafed, Benadryl, Tylenol Sinus, etc. (sometimes Publix accepts it sometimes they don't)Then for the Renuzit I had a manf q and a military commisary q. I think I got $0.50 overage or something. The other overage-providers were the Pedigree dog foods because i had commisary and man q's stacked, and then the $5/$25 Riteaid q.
