Publix $3.01

Hey just got my 2 Nestle Coffe-Mate coffee creamers, bag of watercress salad greens, and green onions bunch for $3.01. Love my coupons!! And love my Publix!

The moral of the story is $225 is a $8 MONEYMAKER

UPDATE: I returned the curtains and got back $30 cash, so minus the orignal $21.86 OOP, this deal was an actual money maker! Thank you, Knox and Rolaids!!!
ORIGINAL POST: Can anyone even believe I got all this for $21.86? I got the pork tendrloin, 8 chicken breasts, ground turkey - all the veggies, the fruit - the home office things - the CURTAINS, for pete's sake! SOOO much stuff we needed for so little. The Knox and Rolaids q's are so awesome - I have about 30 left to use - will do it next week. Love all that sweet overage! One bag of that Iam's cat food alone is $15+. Too expensive out there not to coupon :-)

Holy HT SUPER Doubles!!!!! $5 OOP looks like this . . .

I was so happy that HT had another couon event - woo hoo - The Polaner All Fruit jelly was the first item I made sure to buy - then on from there all the Hershy's dark chooolate bars!!!! Those will make great Easter basket-stuffers. We were almost out of Soft Scrub so the sale came at a great time to stock up. And we were down to our last kitty treat bag, too, so another case of Just In Time. Tomorrow I will get the Pregos and 8th Continent soymilks. And that is about all I think I am going to buy during super-doubles b/c Publix is having some great deals, too. Oh, I will get some more free Aquafresh toothpaste b/c that is my favorite.

Goodbye, good buy, Eggland's Eggs -

It was fun while it lasted - organic Eggland's Best Eggs at Publix for $0.49. I only bought 4 dozen total, but it will be sad the next time i have to pay for eggs. Oh well, the FLIP couldn't last forever.

Great Tide deal at Harris Teeter!

I had an Evic alert that I could buy (1) 50oz Tide detergent for $4.99 - and I comibined that offer on both of our Evic cards with a $3q, and a BOGOq. So, for $4 I bought 4 Tide 50oz detergents for us - AWESOME, especially considering we were down to our last laundry detergent. Nothing like 4 for the (SALE) Price of 1!!!!!!!!!

$5 off Iam's Cat food today

I didn't do any couponing trips today - but I went to Walmart to get my cat food - Iam's dry. I had a $5 off q that I was wondering if it would go through and it did. That was good! I also saw that the rolaids are $1.32 so i can't wait for my Roalid q's to get here for all my SWEET OVERAGE!!! Too bad my one q order is lost in the mail at the moment. I could have really used those knowx or rolaids to buy some more things at Walmart. But I am going to wait until I can get them for FREE. I mean, who wants to shell out cash for a broom and trash bags? not I! Tomorrow I think I am going to try going to the Super Walmart out in N Charleston - if the q's get here. We'll see . . . .

Kimberly Clark Money Maker!!

One of my better trips today - Superbowl Sunday! - I went to score the items I need for my Kimberly Clark rebate - I got all of these items for $2.96 OOP, and after the $10 rebate the transaction will be a $7.04 MM!!! Most of the items are things we really need. The only things we don't need are the wipees and the gelatine. And just to put this all in perspective - if I had been my previous self, going shopping for an essential like, say, our honey, I would have paid $4+ and not thought another thing about it. AND i would have only returned home with the honey. This grocery bill would have run me $60+, but with my couponing I saved $58.18; that is over 95%!!

Harris Teeter FREE Hartz, Pepperidge Farms, and $0.50 butter

Total cost $0.82 - perfect, especially considering we needed butter. And the dog biscuits are going to be a gift - the s'mores goldfish are SO yummy - you should try them!

PUBLIX 02/06/10 KNOX COUPONS HERE!!!

The knox q's scan and give $2.61 in overage a piece - so YAY for that!!

This is a quick trip where I got $44.42 in groceries for only $10.21!

That saved me over $32.55, a 77% discount-

SO happy the Knox q's scan!

These are really going to be knocking my bills down over the next weeks -

and I will be able to buy a lot of items that we don't have q's for - like that dish scrubber, cat litter, the basmati rice (so expensive at $7.49!), etc.

Intro

OK so this is my first blog - the purpose of which is to chronical & share my couponing adventures. It sounds crazy, but since I started couponing in March 2009 it has never ceased to amaze me how differently each deal can go. From crazy cashiers, to competitive couponers, to money-makers, to HUGE savings . . .every scenario has the potential to teach me something new about couponing. I have saved us so much money, even EARNED money by buying our groceries and household necessities with coupons. Now when I shop I can't help but look in other people's carts and take mental notes of how many items they are going to pay WAY too much for. It is truly astounding how much money flows like water OUT of your pocket if you don't use coupons. I could never go back - I love coupons!!
