November 15 PUblix $3.80 OOP

I am loving the SUndown overage and the Wholly Guac overage - I also stacked a Foodlion q to get Peter Pan PB for $0.35 - not bad! I will get another one today. Johnny is the ebst cashier - he is so nice and so fast. I love it when he is working :-)

HT SD final trip $0.37 OOP!!!!!!

OK so from going thru the wringer at PUblix with my bad cashier it goes to worse at HT at the U-scan line. 20 Minutes!!Asia was working and she was wicked!!!!! Basically my 2nd transaction i used 7 coupons and I was buying all items that, when the q's doubled, would be free. So when my total to pay came to $4-something I knew something was wrong so i went up to her stand to go over the q's and see what happened. And we scrolled thru my transaction and could only find 5 coupons scanned and doubled. SO I was like, "OK, well 2 of the q's didn't scan let's figure out which 2," and she was not having it. She was like, "I scanned all your coupons." And i was like, "well, you are holding 7 coupons but only 5 scanned, so somehow 2 didn't get scanned." and Asia was like, "I don't know because I scanned your coupons. You know, you just can't get stuff for free!" LOL yes, she said that to me. I was just in disbelief. So I say, "well, let's look at the coupons and your computer and figure out which ones didn't scan," and i proceeded to go down the short list of 5 coupons and eliminate each corresponding paper coupon by flipping it over. We were then left with 2 of the Playtex q's that were $1 q's and would have doubled to 0.99. So, basically there was the $4 discrepancey. And i was like, "see, these are the ones that didn't get scanned - scan these." And she stood there and argued and told me No, that she had scanned them already and i was like Am I in the Twilight Zone or what?? I told her that HT's registers are so precise with matching barcodes of items to the coupons that if she scanned a coupon for an item that was not purchased the register would not accept the coupon so, therefore, she had nothing to lose to scan the coupons for me. And she still said No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like, OK, call the manager then because this is ridiculous. And at that point she scanned them, they doubled, and my new total was $0.36. She shook her dumb head in anger and had the nerve to say "That's not right, I already scanned them." ANd i was thinking "how can u possibly stand there and say that 5=7? because that was what she was saying - jsut nonsensical jibberish. I mean, i gave her 7 coupons and only 5 were on the transaction and to her that was a reality that made perfect sense. WOW. I paid my $0.36 and left. whatever, Asia!

November 7 Publix $7.83 OOP

This trip was a little crazy because the first cashier i tried to check out with was a TOTAL douche. she was just miserable and i could tell from the moment i started putting items on her lane that she would be a problem. i smiled at her and was like, "hi!" and she just scowled. anyway, sure enough, when i broke out the q's at the end she spread them all out on the counter, then proceeded to start taking all my groceries out of the bags. OMG what a biotch. so she immediately was objecting to the Vicks Nyquil tablets i bought, stating that "this coupon is for Vicks DAYQUIL," and i was like, "call the manager because you should take that q. It reads 'ANY VICKS PRODUCT' and yes it has a picture of Dayquil but it has no exclusions. AND the Dayquil and Nyquil are the same price so what's it to you?" SO she called the manager over and proceeded to pick apart my coupons. And Gary was so nice, he was telling her to take all my coupons. And she was so mad! but then, what messed me up was that since i didn't have the newspaper i was going to buy my subtotal wasn't to $25 yet. So i couldn't use my RA5/25. and she pushed the q back it my face like, 'Here! I can't take this!' So that was the last straw, i looked at her and i was like, 'cancel this transaction, give my back all my coupons, and give me back my groceries. i am going to go back and do some more shopping to get my subtotal up to $25 and check out with a cashier that is good and quick with my coupons!' And i did - I went and got some bread and some chicken and then went through Raven's line - and Raven was so sweet and SO quick - and Gary came over and made sure that Raven toook all my q's - thanks, ya'll - and i looked over at that biotchy one and was like "wow, that was fast!" Anyway, blah blah blah - I am going to find out that cashier's name and post it because you do NOT want to go thru her line!

November 5 Publix $1.41 OOP

This was a quick trip to get my wine and some milk - got my subtotal down to 0.18 by stacking some Poise q's, using my RA5/25 and a little Hood overage, as well as Vick's overage . . .Was loving the free Rubbermaid containers, too.

Publix November 4 $3.88 OOP

I used $48.50 in q's to get my subtotal down to $1.51 . . pretty amazing! Johnny is the cutest cashier - I love it when he rings me up because he fills me in on all the latest gossip AND he is super fast/good with my coupons. Thank you, Johnny!!

HT Super Doubles Trip #2 = $1.39 OOP

Harris Teeter was out of several freebie items I was going to pick up today - but that is OK because I really took advantage of the coupon event yesterday. Anyway, I had a Heluva cheese CAT for a free cheese WYB Heluva dip, and that was $1 after my q so my subtotal was $1. after tax I was at $1.39 OOP . . . .LOVE HTSD!!!!!

HT SUUUUUUPER DOUBLES $1.88 OOP looks like . . .

Super doubles are SO awesome this go-round - wow! I am loving the free WP organic soup, the free Campbell's condensed soups, the free coffee creamer (my favorite!), the free cooking oil, the free MC's, the free gloves, the free sausages, the FREE EVERYTHING :-)

Publix November 1st . . . .NINE CENTS oop!!!!

This trip went great - i actually screwed up, though - i had $3 more dollars in overage i could have spent - So Heather had to give me my 3 $1 Publix CF q's back. darnnit!! i just couldn't do the math correctly, obviously, but i was VERY happy to have my OOP be so low. Thank you, coupons and thank you, Publix!!

November 1st - Harris Teeter $2.56 OOP -SUPER DOUBLES start Wednesday!!!

I had such a pizza craving and I knew that the Red Barons at HT were only $2.25 with a q this week. Anyway, I also wanted to use my Wofgang Puck q's to stock up on some close-to-free (0.12/pc!) organic soups. Well,t hey were completely out of the good flavors - of course - so i just bought a couple butternut squash and got a raincheck for the rest. i will still go back today and see if they have any restocked. I love the chicken and dumplings flavor. it is awesome! I can't wait for SUPER DOUBLES to start this week - there will be a lot of great freebies to be had :-)

Oh, and back to the pizza - i was standing in the freezer section and a lady shopper grabbed a red baron pizza right after i did - and i gave her one of my $1 red baron q's. she accepted it, but i could tell she felt SO awkward. and i tried to make it less awkward by saying - hey, now your pizza is only $2.25, can't beat that, right?! and she just truned on her heels and practically ran away. i wonder if she even used the q at checkout? why would she feel weird? i have no idea - oh well . ..sorry, lady!

No more Aveeno!!!!!!!!! Q's lost in mail :-(

I am SO bummed about my last batch of Aveeno q's i ordered on Ebay. They never showed - it's been 2 weeks now since i ordered them. And the seller didn't have any more to send me - so she is just going to refund me. Ugh!!!!! i was SO enjoying that aawesome overage. what will be the next big Overage Provider Q? I know from the past year and a half that they do not come along that often . . .

This was a very quick trip to get wine and some of the free cascadian farm cereals -
I also needed a couple things for my fried catfish po'boys i was making. Oh, and a little extra candy for trick-or-treaters in case we got any! (we usually only get about 20 or so)Lara bars are free right now - i need to get some more IPS for those. I used $25.75 in q's to get my oop down to $9.03. cool!
