Publix SWEET overage - $15MM!!!!!!!!!!!

This trip was great because I had the Earthfare B2G2 handmade burgers q and it was time to stock up on some free hefty baggies. also, tp was cheap and along with the overage providers i was able to score all this, PLUS A $30 GIFT CARD for $15.50.
I am so happy! thank you, PUblix!

Quick Sunday PUblix trip for wine - $8.20 OOP

This was one of those wine and lemon runs that i just had to get my freebies + a little overage . . .My total would have been around $14 if I hadn't bought my other items - so who wouldn't choose the lower total?

HT Super Doubles 3rd trip $0.87 OOP for all this PLUS 6 MYSTIC PIZZAS

I made a really quick run Monday morning to use some more Mystic Pizza q's - bought us 6 more! But I took them straight to the ofice freezer so there was no pic -
Anyway, we love the horseradish mustard, so I got that, and of course jelly is always good to stock up on. Overall I would say it was a wonderful coupon event - I only made it by 3 times, but I got a lot of great things for an actual profit - craziness!!

HTSD Day Two $1.75 OOP (and still have my $5 OYNO, so I am at a $1.01 MM for both days)

This was a great trip, too . . day two of HTSD. My cashier, Juanita, was so nice and I hope I have converted her to a coupon newbie. She was very into finding out where I got my q's. I gave her 3 Mystic pizza q's so she could get her's for free tonight. Anyway, thank's HT for the coupon event!!
BTW - the McCormick catalina did not print for the marinade packets.
I used $100.10 in coupons. WOW!!!
So I am currently at a $1.10 MONEY MAKER - which leads to the question - Would YOU accept ALL these HTSD (day one AND day two) groceries for not only FREE, but with $1.10 cash put into your hand? I think the answer is YES!!!!!!!! LOL ;-)
I just want to illustrate to those people who don't think couponing is worth their time that either I am crazy or THEY are crazy. . .

HT Super DOubles are BACK!! $2.76 MM!!!!!!!!!!

This SD is a great one so far - The McCormick catalina promo generated $7.50 OYNO, I spent $2.50 of that, and I am left with $5 OYNO. Minus the $2.24 OOP, that makes this Day-One-of-HTSD a $2.76 MONEY MAKER - sweet. And speaking of SWEET - I am SO glad our chocolate stockpile got replenished :-)
For the remainder of the promotion I plan to get more free Mystic pizzas, 1 box Kashi, 4 more Odwalla bars, and I am also going to "buy" 3 more McCormick, generating $2.50 more in catalinas . .

$220 in coupons = $40 oop Publix 5/18/10

I really love Mt. P Publix - they are so nice! this trip was a huge success despite the mysterious total - $40.74?? I had it fugured to be more like $5 + tax (the tax ended up being @$12). . .and after looking at the reciept I can only find about $10 in errors . . that still leaves me scratching my ehad over @$13 lost . .
oh well - no big deal - i bought so much stuff we needed - this trip came at a great time- I am especially excited to have the sirlion filets, 2 lbs shrimp, to be restocking our handsoap, yogurt, dog food, dog treats, and chicken broth. I was thankful to be buying my moisturizer, too! - And the cool thing is that if I hadn't used coupons, the Aveeno moisturizer ($20) and wine ($11) alone would have generated almost he same total!
thank you, Mt. P Pubix!!

Publix $3.67 OOP

This trip went really well - I had a lot of great coupons ($61.68 in q's)and my total got so low that the manager gave me back 2 of them! The new Renuzit $3 q's are awesome - i will have to get some more of those - and then the Beneful are providing $2.50 (Snackin SLices)in overage b/c of all the pet food promotions going on. I was so happy to be able to buy our shrimp, wine, cilantro, onions, and pet food for so little OOP :-)

I'm back, baby! $3.36 OOP Publix 5/14

All I was going to buy was my wine, now priced at $10.99, so to get my total OOP down to $2.75 was cool - I used $30.71 in coupons.
the overage-providers were, of course, the Zantac, the RiteAid $5/25, and also the Renuzits & McCormicks. The Ultra Pearls litter was free b/c i had a coupon (shocker.) for a free bag, and I utilized buying the litter tonight to get my subtotal up to $25 so I could use the RiteAid q. The FIsher nuts are free right now, too - and I am SO gald b/c they are awesome.

Just when I thought I knew what i was doing?!

Ok, so just when I thought I could still quickly buy a few essentials at a deeply discounted price, with my coupons, I was. . . . WRONG! lol - If you are bad at math like I am, do not wing it when you are exhausted. Because I definitely ended up paying more for this grocery trip than I would have paid if I would have only bought the items i needed . . . the ground turkey and onion.
But the really fuuny thing is that I am stunned that I paid $12.36 OOP (a relatively small amount of money)and only came home with these items. I am so used to getting better mileage on a dollar at this point . . .
oh well, I will do better next time!

i'm on a Coupon High . . .$21oop at Publix . . W/$50 BPgasCARD!!

I was so happy to be back with my coupons! There are so many great deals to do this week at Publix and it was driving me crazy that I had all these q's and no chance to get to the store . ..
Anyway, $21 oop and I got all these groceries PLUS a $50 BP gas card. I mean, hello, if that's not a coupon high then what is?!? -
7 OM lunch meats
4 PP peanut butter
4 HV dressings
WINE!!
4 Kraft cheese
2 OM turkey bacon
4 Reeses
Almond Milk
2 Oreos
Organic eggs
2 Cokes, 2 waters
Pretzels
2 Boca burger
2 BirdsEye Voila dinners

and so much more, . . .I won't go on - but I WILL thank PUBLIX in Mt P for being such coupon-friendly, fast, nice people. YAY - I am so glad to use up those q's and get our groceries and gas :-)

Publix Mother's Day $12.37 OOP

This was a quick trip to my Folly Road Publix. I had $2 overage from buying the dressings, $3 overage from the Zantac, and $5 from the Riteaid q. So, that $10 combined with a Free Silk Soymilk catalina, and my other q's brought my total to $12.37. Pretty awesome since we needed the milk, lunch meat, coffe creamer, chicken, wine, and dip. If I would have bought just those items and not couponed it would have cost me over $30 . . .

Mt. Pleasant Publix ROCKS!!! $158 in coupons = $11 OOP!!!

So today was the last day I could use my $3 Snuggle coupons to get overages. I figured my best bet was the Mt. P Publix. It was!! Not only did they have Snuggle at a price that would generate my overages, but they are so coupon-friendly there, too. I got $9.45 in overage for buying 15. Awesome. My other overage-providers were the 13 Zantac ($16 in overage), $2 Schick overage, $1 for "buying" the 4 Vaseline Sheer Infusions (my ab fave body moisturizer), and $8.40 for buying the Tylenol. At that point, including the $10 off $20 Kmart q I had a $45 credit. . . couponers unite!!! haha! I even had a customer nearby notice my technique and comment, "stick it to tha' man!" WTH?? I about choked! I'm not trying to "stick it" to anybody, but at least he understood that the manufacturer's pay for the groceries - too funny. I had to laugh! And PS - included in this $11 OOP were 3 Hallmark cards that are not pictured - If I would have paid full price for them it would have cost $8 just for the cards alone!
Snuggle, anyone?

"Don't hate!" $0.06 OOP Folly Rd Publix 4/30

Don't hate, Folly Road Publix! These random assistant manager chicks swear they don't like me using coupons - What difference does it make to them? I have no idea. I would show them how to do it if they would let me! But, no, they would rather tell me they are going to "let me do it this time . . ." which ticks me off so much! I don't want to be viewed as cheating. Anyway, my coupon deal was completely within their policies and after being told I was going to be "allowed" to use my coupons I finally had to just talk to that manager be like, "Look, I know your corporate policy inside and out, I am not expecting any special treatment. And it is important to me that you understand that because I don't want some bad reputation." And I went on to explain that Publix is one of only a few stores that allows coupons to stack, making it wonderful for couponers. I also explained to her that with coupons that generate overage, like the Schick and Zantac, that her store gets the entire amount redeemed. That I am not stealing money from them. I don't think she understood that at all. Anyway, she was NOT vibing on it - she just wanted me gone. Oh well - she should learn how to let manufacturers' advertising dollars pay for her groceries; she probably would be a LOT happier :-)
update: And I just want to reiterate that, hello, I got two pizzas and one BIG bottle of wine for SIX CENTS - holla!!! so, overall, this trip was a success :-)

HT Triples 4/30/10 Finally, Free Viva paper towels are BACK!!

I was so happy to learn that, after vacation, HT was having a Triples coupon event. And even more glad to find they are carrying the single Viva paper towels again. Free paper towels, YAY! This purchase cost me $2.50 OOP, but it should have only been about $0.50, so i went back and checked out the reciepts - I bought the wrong croutons costing me about $1.20 - And 2 of the McCormicks were more expensive than i thought, costing about $1.45. BUT, the wierd thing is - all 5 of the McCormick spice packet coupons gave overage, so those took off $.075. I will have to go back and buy more! i have tons more McCormick q's . . .
