Publix October 28 $3.86

This was a great deal on the 4C cheese . . .0.99/pc after q's. So I stocked up on those. And we were almost out of gallon-size baggies so i got a couple of those, too. The sales this week are so great - I wish my Aveeno coupons would get here so i coule REALLY get to couponing! Anyway, i used $36 in q's to get my OOP down to $3.86 - super cool!

Publix 10/25 $?? $13.96 OOP mistake!!!!!

Oh well, I have to go back with my reciept and get some $. I got to talking with Heather and we were both obviously distracted from the coupons. She made about $16 in mistakes - she didn't ring up $8 in coupons, and she not only missed 2 of my $2 competitor q's but she instead CHARGED me 2 "pharmacy taxable" at $2. So that was $8 i missed out on. Heather! crazy girl! I really like Heather and she is one of my favorite couponing cashiers so i don't want to get her in trouble. I am just going to get back $8 for the competitor q mistake and leave it at that. Plus, i don't think it' s a good idea to draw attention to my overages. The new sales start today (10/27) so i will def go in, shop, and get some $ back, too.
UPDATE: I went back and got $8.52 refunded - CS is so nice - I still should have had a lower OOP for this trip but at least i got half of my money back. \So instead of the original $22.48 OOP i am down to $13.96 OOP, much better.

Publix October 24 $1.67 OOP WOW!!

How did we ever get by before couponing? This trip was to buy the corn meal, oil, and lemons for my catfish dinner, the OJ, syrup, noodles, and Campbells. All the overage was so sweet! i hope my Aveeno coupons hurry up and get here today, they are about to expire!

Publix October 22 $4.09 OOP!!!!

This was an excellent trip - got to use $95 in q's - only spent $4 for all my goods - LOVE coupons!

Publix October 21 $11.54 OOP, woops . . . .AGAIN!!!

There must be a curse on my Aveeno coupons - LOL - because a few days ago I forgot to include one, leaving my OOP $10 higher than it should have been - and then on this trip I made sure I had all my q's to give the cashier but she slipped up and skipped one of my $10 Aveenos!!!!! ahhh!!!! I was so disappointed b/c my OOP would have been $1.54. awesome. But no, Laura missed it and the manager was standing right there so I couldn't be like, You missed giving me my overage on the Aveeno! That may not have flown. So, oh well, just had to suck it up! But what really stinks, too, is not only did i not get the $10, but the coupon is gone now and I can't use it at all. At least the last time I still had the q. I'm telling you, you never know how these scenarios are going to turn out!

HarrisTeeter Oct21 Free stock, free tabasco!!

I was SO glad I had several Wolfgang Puck q's so I could take advantage of the free stock - and so glad, too, for the Tabasco. The Solo cups were 0.50, making my total OOP $1.29 YAY

October 20 Publix $12.15 OOP Rookie Mistake!!!

OK so i did it again!!! I forgot to include one of my high-dollar q's! My OOP would have been $2.15 if I hadn't forgotten to give a $10 Aveeno q. Bummer! And since it is an overage-provider q I can't really go back to CS and be like, Hey can I have my money back for this coupon? Because they will take one look at my reciept and see the $6.99 Aveenos and be like WTF? No. SO I have to just chalk it up to learning and be thankful for all the overage (And AVEENO!!!!!!!) that I have gotten so far . . .
Overall, though, the trip went well. I used $68.40 in q's to get tons of essentials plus 2 big bags of candy for Halloween. I will go back today and get more Platex - I can't believe they are a 0.50 MM!!!!!!!!!
