2 Publix trips in 1 day - 8/17 $12.01 OOP

Since we were leavin gthe next day for NC i wanted to, once again, buy my wine supply while i was here in SC with all my coupons and my wonderful PUblix. I used $33 in q's . . . thank you, Publix - love you!!!

August 17 Publix $6.05 oop

This trip was stictly for the pets, obvisouly - and I know i could have done better by making 2 transactions - but anyway, we were going out of town the next day so i had to get all this at once. The treats were free and i used $1 q for the traing pads and a $1 q for the litter. I used $38 in q's!

HT Super Double trip #2 $9 OOP

This was the last day of super doubles - I was so glad to see Kristian at HT! Go, girl - you are really getting the hang of your couponing!!!!!!!!
So I had tearpad q's for $1 off beef wyb Sara Lee bread. And i had sara lee blinkies for $0.75 off poundcake. I tried to use the poundcake q's but of course they didn't scan. but the manager was SO nice! he came over and pushed them through AND made sure they doubled. I was shocked. I was like "you don't have to do that, i was just hoping they would scan for any sara lee - i didn't even buy poundcake." So my total OOP was $9, whcih is really great esp considering i got 4 lbs of ground beef. Anyway, so HT superdoubles was prtty good to us this time around. I also got for free of the 15th some Kashi crackers, 2 more mystic pizzas, and 2 stouffers chicken pot pies.

My sweetie had his birthday and we went to HHI to celebrate! It was great - I hope he had as much fun as I did!!!!
I wish I could have been able to keep up with HT super doubles but a couponing break can be a good thing sometimes . . .
Before we left on our trip I made a quick run to Publix, buying my wine and some ice for the cooler. I also noticed on SS that the marizetti (sp?) products were free, and i had 3 of those q's - so I got 2 bottles of banana peppers, and 1 jalepeno slices. VanCamps pork and beans gave me overage so i was able to buy 4 of those (that's all the q's i had). I spent about $15 - which isn't too bad, esp considerin gi had 2 big gulps!
